First Spandex 6 review

The first issue 6 review is up! Here’s an extract: ‘…The team’s secrets are revealed. And what secrets! And there’s one last big reveal at the end of the issue that might in fact shock some readers. Sorry, I’m not telling you anything more…’

Spandex book in Previews!

Wow, one of my life’s ambitions has been achieved – to appear in the Previews catalogue (where comic shops order their books from). The Spandex book is in the new edition. It’s not quite the right blurb I wanted and the cover has completely changed… but I’m still happy lol!

Issue 6 is now on sale!

Issue 6 is now on sale! It comes with 3 awesome mini-comics and several huge shocks! You can order it from the Ordering Pages, have a look just to the left, up a bit.

Broken Frontier write-up!

Lovely in-depth write-up of Spandex 1 to 5 here: http://www.brokenfrontier.com/columns/p/detail/the-self-published-super-hero-spectacular-1
Here’s an extract: ‘..All the staple ingredients of a good super-hero soap are included: surprising secrets, shocking betrayal, unlikely relationships, death – all backed up with a suitably indulgent air of self-aware cheekiness! …And amongst the humour and the high-camp antics of marauding pink ninjas, 50-foot lesbians and gay zombies, are some very thoughtful, very powerful and very human stories.’
